Here’s a little Friday inspiration.
When you’re starting your own business, belief in yourself and your product is necessary. My first startup totally failed because I didn’t have absolute belief in my ability to deliver the product. But in my second startup I had absolute belief, so I was successful.
When you’re selling your products of services you have to have belief. If you don’t, clients sniff this a mile off.
Here’s a great video giving you practical tips on how to build self-confidence when you’re selling to get you inspired.

I’ll quickly share one of my scripts with you.
How I overcame my fear
I used to be petrified of public speaking – I’m talking nauseating knees knocking nervous. I created a script to repeat before public speaking events, and it goes like this:
How can I serve this audience?
How can I help this audience?
How can I use my unique skills and talent to give this audience value?
Re-wire your brain
When you flood your head with positive empowering thoughts, there’s no room left for negative doubtful thoughts. And you have to repeat the script at least 20 times because it’s creating a new neural network in your brain.
It’s like when you learn how to drive. The first time you sit in a car you’re completely overwhelmed with all the things you have to do. However after driving several times you get used to it, and before you know it, people can drive, eat a bag of crisps while texting. Certainly not encouraging that behaviour, but it goes to show, repetition is how you rewire your brain to learn new skills.
So remember, when you create your success script, repeat it over 10 times for it to start rewiring your brain to create new synapses.
