The only way you can truly add value to clients is when you know what is of value.
And the only way to know what is of value is by asking questions.
So ask questions and then actively listen.
Here’s a challenge for you: next time you are out in a social situation and meet someone new, be the first to start the conversation by asking a question, and only tell them anything if they ask. Unless they ask, you can only ask questions and listen.
